YMCA follows the National
YMCA guidelines to ensure a safe environment for your child.
Our program meets or exceeds State of California
Child Care license requirements.
Our staff is finger printed and will not interact with children until
clearance is received. The YMCA is one of the biggest childcare
providers in the USA,
with a record of offering a safe and productive environment for your
children. Our sites are drug free.
Our After School Child Care
program runs from 6:30 am to
the first bell and then from 2:00 pm
to 6:00 pm. At the YMCA After
School Childcare program, your child will gain new skills, make new
friends and have fun learning life's key values. Our primary goal is to
instill happiness, confidence, and self-assurance in our children. At the
same time, we build assets in children by demonstrating how to treat
others with respect, how to encourage one another to succeed, and how to
take an active role in caring for the world around them. While our kids
learn to play sports, they also become better team players and supporters
of their friends. They may build a fort or create a sculpture, but more
important, they learn how to respect nature and appreciate their own and
others' creativity.
Exciting cooperative games bring smiles and laugher while making our
children aware of
the interconnectedness of us all. Our After School care is
based on Christian Principles and provides a quality experience that is
safe, convenient, and creative. Our focus is to encourage children to
accept and demonstrate the four key character traits: Honesty, Caring,
Respect, and Responsibility. This environment is what sets us apart
from other childcares.
A parent meeting is set at
the beginning of each school year. We will give you any information
you need to assure that your child will have a great after school
experience. The YMCA provides snacks.
